Nuitee’s $48M Series A: Unleashing the Next Era of Travel Technology

I founded Nuitée in 2017 to revolutionize the travel industry with an API-first approach. I was inspired by companies like Stripe, Twilio, and Plaid, which each built simple, scalable API solutions for their industries. However, there was no equivalent in travel, so I launched Nuitée with my partner Said Rkaibi, along with founding team member Olivier Dheur, to redefine this $9.9 trillion market (including the $800 billion hotel industry).

Fast forward to today, and I’m honored to share that Nuitée has raised a $48M Series A led by Accel, one of the world’s most prestigious venture capital firms, that has partnered with groundbreaking companies like Crowdstrike, Atlassian, Dropbox, Facebook, and Slack.

Along with Accel, we have partnered with some of the most experienced leaders across travel, technology, and fintech, including Robert J. Mylod Jr (Chairman of Booking.com), Sam Shank (Founder of HotelTonight), Jeff Boyd (Former CEO of Priceline), Jeanne DeWitt (Chief Business Officer of Stripe), Bobby Morrison (Chief Revenue Officer of Shopify), Bryant Chou (Co-Founder of Webflow), Robert Vis (Founder of Bird), Jack Zhang (Founder and CEO of Airwallex), and P1 Ventures (a leading venture capital firm in Africa). We are grateful for the support of this exceptional group of travel experts and technology leaders, as we set out to disrupt the travel industry.

Our vision for Nuitée has always been clear: we want to be the go-to infrastructure for travel services –  the “Stripe for travel.” What started as a solution for connecting hotels to booking systems has since grown into a comprehensive platform that serves both the demand and supply sides of the travel ecosystem. Today, Nuitée powers OTAs, fintechs, and super-apps through connecting them to leading hotels like Hilton, Accor, and Best Western. 

Nuitée has grown 10x since 2022 and continues to expand exponentially. We’ve bootstrapped the business to massive volumes and have remained profitable throughout. What sets us apart is our tech backbone that lets us drive rapid growth while maintaining a product that is consistently high quality, easy-to-use and low latency. 

Our customer base includes leading travel-native players like OTAs, airlines and tour operators, as well as banks, super apps, automotive companies, and telecom organizations that are often using Nuitée to offer travel products for the first time. Our goal is to make it easy for anyone to offer travel inventory through a fully customizable white-labeled solution, while giving hotels direct connectivity to this unique pool of customers.  

This is a game-changer for hoteliers looking to improve profitability, access new pools of customers, and better engage guests. Our data-driven insights allow hotels to personalize their marketing, maximize revenue per room, and enhance guest experiences—all without the constraints of traditional distribution models.

The Road Ahead

After seven years of bootstrapping, we believe now is the time to accelerate our growth. This fundraise will enable us to expand our product offering, develop new global partnerships, and grow our team. The travel industry has evolved and rebounded after the global pandemic, as more businesses recognize the value of integrating travel into their offerings. We are excited to be able to go faster and seize this opportunity. We’re building a global team with offices in Ireland, Spain, London, Morocco , USA and many other locations to fulfill our vision of disrupting the travel industry with best-in-class technology. And with the backing of world-class investors, we’re more confident than ever that we’ll get there.
